How this reference library is arranged: articles, procedures, resources and glossary, and how terminology pages link back to the material that uses each term.
This library holds reference material on aesthetic medicine: facial injection anatomy, the physical behaviour of injectable products, complications and their published management, and the UK regulatory framework surrounding treatment. It is an educational reference. Nothing here is medical advice, and no treatment is offered or sold.
How the material is organised
Articles are the main body of writing. Each covers a single subject — a region of injection anatomy, a product property, a complication, a piece of published work — at enough length to be useful without becoming a textbook chapter.
Procedures describe treatment areas from an anatomical and assessment standpoint: what the region contains, what the relevant decisions are, and what tends to go wrong there. They are descriptions of what a procedure involves, not instructions for performing one.
Resources hold longer consolidated material — revision notes across several regions, combined complication overviews, and reading notes on the published guidelines that practitioners most often cite.
Glossary contains the terminology. Each entry defines a term and then lists every page in the library that uses it, so a term encountered mid-article can be looked up and followed outward into the material that applies it. The glossary is therefore an index as well as a dictionary, and it is usually the fastest way into an unfamiliar area.
Sourcing
Every substantive page carries a list of the published work it draws on, at the foot of the page. Those references are to primary literature, to guideline documents and to regulatory sources, and they are given so that any claim made here can be checked against the original rather than taken on trust. Where the evidence is weak or contested, the pages say so rather than presenting consensus that does not exist.
Finding things
Three routes. The section indexes list everything within each part of the library. The glossary approaches the same material through terminology. And individual pages cross-reference related material directly, since most subjects here connect to several others — anatomy to complications, complications to product properties, and product properties back to assessment.
